April 25 - May 2, 2004 - Outer Banks, NC

- Posted 6/20/2003 by scott LOCATION: Rodanthe, NC COMMENTS: If you've never been to Hatteras on an ABC windsufing trip, this is the trip for you. Once again, we've reserved the ever popular "WestWind" house in Rodanthe from April 25 through May 2. The house is located right on the water. There is plenty of room for gear set-up and storage of equipment and trailers. The house has been a favorite of Atlanta area windsurfers for years. It has 4-Bedrooms and a loft (3 rooms with queen beds, another with 4 bunks, and the loft has a couch that can work as a bed). The house is equipped with 3.5 baths. Since the master is large enough to fit in a floor bed and since we only plan to have two in the bunk room, a full house will be 7 singles or 9 if we have two couples. The cost for the rental should be between $150-$200 per person depending on how many sign-up. We will use a "house food plan" to cover breakfast and lunch...that way we don't end up with a refrigerator with four jars of mayonase and five gallons of milk. Plan on spending about $80 on the house food. In addition, each room will also be responsible for cooking one evening meal. The remaining evening meals will be at one of the local resturants. It's located on the sound side and literally just steps away from flat water. The house is a 4-Bedroom, 3-Bath, with two queen sized beds, two double beds, and four bunks. We only plan to have two, maybe 3, in the bunk room, so a full house will be 6-7 singles. The cost for the rental should be between $195-$226 per person.
